This policy explains what Portexa Investment & Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. ("Portexa", "we") collects when you use portexaifs.com, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the laws of Nepal, including the Individual Privacy Act, 2075.
What we collect
- Your account — your name, email address and phone number, and a password we store only as a one-way hash. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and verified email address from Google.
- Trial verification — the phone number and email address you verify with one-time codes, so that each person receives one trial.
- Devices and sessions — a description of the device and browser you sign in from, its IP address and when it was last active. We use these to enforce the device allowance of your plan and to protect your account.
- What you enter — portfolio transactions and watchlists, your practice trading account, forum posts and expert opinions, training bookings and the settings you choose.
- Support requests — the name, email address, subject and messages of each ticket you open.
- Payments — when you pay for a plan, the payment is made through the provider you choose (such as eSewa or Khalti). We receive the confirmation and the amount, not your wallet or card credentials.
How we use it
- To provide the service: your account, your subscription and what it includes, and the pages and figures you ask for.
- To keep accounts secure: device limits, sign-in confirmation codes and alerts about new devices.
- To communicate with you: account and billing emails, replies to your tickets and the notifications you choose in your settings.
- To improve Portexa: aggregate use of pages and features. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and local storage
Portexa uses a session cookie to keep you signed in, a security cookie that protects forms, and a device cookie that recognises a device you have already confirmed. Your browser's local storage keeps preferences such as the colour theme and the state of menus. We do not use advertising cookies.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the providers that run the service for us — hosting, email and SMS delivery, and the payment providers — and only for that purpose, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open, and records we must keep for accounting and legal purposes for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to close your account and delete what we are not required to keep.
Your choices
- Review and correct your details in your profile and settings.
- Choose which notifications you receive.
- Sign out other devices from your devices page.
- Ask for a copy of your information, or for its deletion, through the contact page.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell signed-in members about material changes.
