How these totals are counted
Each recorded financial value counts once for its company and reporting period. Market quotes count their recorded values; trades, news, corporate actions, research and member entries count once per record. Blank values, calculated analysis copies and edit histories are excluded. An edit replaces an existing entry; it does not add another.
Users count registered accounts once. Companies count distinct symbols in the company directory and filed statements, excluding separate traded instruments. Financial instruments include each distinct symbol in the company and price records, including shares, funds, bonds and promoter shares. A company's different securities can therefore count as several instruments.
Populated datasets are source collections with at least one recorded input. Financial data fields count each populated numeric field type once per financial or market dataset, with aliases combined. They describe the variety of information; data points count the individual values and records stored over time.
Daily activity uses the last 30 complete calendar days in Nepal, including days with no activity and excluding today. Calculation outputs are an estimate: populated results from daily broker, flow and technical analysis divided by 30, plus saved calculation outputs on approved quarterly and annual statements updated in the last 365 complete days divided by 365. Each saved output counts once; repeated command runs, historical backfills outside the window and on-demand calculations without a recorded output are not added. This estimates stored output, not the number of calculation executions.
Buy/sell signals combine saved technical signals and shared AI predictions, counting each stock, date and direction once across sources, price variants and horizons. Neutral signals and personal AI predictions are excluded. Dummy trades count executed practice orders by execution date, once per order, not per share or partial fill; pending and cancelled orders are excluded. Both totals are divided by 30. “<1” means some activity averaged less than one per day; zero means none was recorded in the window. Activity summaries do not add extra inventory data points.
Research & Data counts each major event record once, published economic/policy research and reading articles once per article, and international economic readings once per indicator, country or region and period. Drafts, archived articles, company reports and market concepts are excluded from the article total. World economic data excludes Nepal and readings without a named region; recorded zero values still count. These summaries do not add extra data points.
Training totals count each class, workshop or programme once. Past classes are active listings scheduled before today in Nepal; class completion is not separately recorded. Workshops conducted must have a past start time and be marked as held by staff. Certification programmes count active listings, not applications or certificates awarded. These summaries do not add extra data points.
The analysis toolkit counts registered financial indicators, valuation methods and calculator functions—not how often calculations run. Figures marked “+” are rounded down. Totals refresh automatically about every five minutes; the timestamp shows the last completed update.
